June 7  Patriotic Evening aboard the USS Missouri

Oceania held a special event for the World Cruisers in Pearl Harbor aboard the USS Missouri, a WWII battleship.

Interesting Honolulu architecture
The Missouri is berthed in Pearl Harbor along Battleship Row, next to the Arizona Memorial
 The famous photograph in sculpture
That's the Arizona just in front of the Missouri
The Japanese signed the surrender documents on the Missouri on 2 Sept 1945 in Tokyo Bay.

Ammunition handling room for one of the 5-inch guns
 Rainbow over Pearl Harbor
Sixteen-inch guns loomed over the fantail where the drinks and music were.

Lots of big band 1940's music as well as a patriotic medley.  We should have added Oh Canada for the 10% of the group from the frozen north.
 Honolulu in the night

We toured Mighty Mo when she was still docked in Washington State. I remember it being a very moving visit.
