June 15 Los Angeles

After 5 days of crossing a Pacific Ocean that wasn't, we docked in LA.  Although we've been here before, we chose the ship's excursion that would give us an overview and we wouldn't have to drive ourselves around.

While at sea there was a coffee get-together for the ATW crowd.  Donuts.

In LA,  Asst Cruise Director Wil in control while Exec Chef Farid comes hustling along checking on something
Result of the forklift vs. tomato collision.  Salads might be a little light tonight.
On the bus to downtown LA, a taste of traffic.
 Homeless

 Seems very California
LA requires art with any building
 Disney Concert Hall
Marriage pictures at the hall -- you can see them above
Not just Macs, but the location of Marilyn Monroe's star on the Walk of Fame.  And one of the FYC (For Your Consideration) signs we saw for the Emmys.

 Alcove at the Dolby Theatre
This is where the Oscar attendees enter
 Jim Henson Studio
A lunch stop at the Farmer's Market

 A drive-by

We got to see all the touristy things.  It was a success, and it was on dry land.
