June 18  Cabo San Lucas

First time ever to Mexico, another country checked off our list.

The evening before, an interesting view of the sun at sunset.
The sail into Cabo was scenic with several soaring animals

We took the sea-land expedition, starting off with a boat ride to the Arch formed at the southernmost part of the Baja peninsula, Lands End.
It was a popular destination for tourists...
 and seals.

Now on the bus, we visited a glass factory, complete with glass blowing exhibition

A turtle with a sombrero and a bottle of tequila
A stop at a seaside resort for refreshments, and an opportunity to watch a preciously planned wedding being set up.
 San Jose del Cabo

They were preparing for a big music festival later that evening.  Here's the main stage, with a backdrop of T-shirts.  I was predicting a catastrophe for the event, since there were many stands setting up to sell beer, and not a Port-A-Potty in sight.

Sounds like a fun tour ... glass blowing is such a great art. Saw demonstrations of it years ago and really enjoyed it.
