May 26 Raiatea

Ho hum.  Another day, another tropical paradise.  Warm, humid, a little bit of rain in the afternoon.

We walked around before our tour began, and discovered that this is indeed French Polynesia.
Our tour was by 4x4 Jeep, with parallel bench seating in the back.  The height of the roof made it difficult to see the horizon, we could see things very near the jeep without bending over and running into your neighbor on the seat.  And taking pictures was also difficult.
Here's an example of an "over the shoulder" shot from the jeep.  With all of the natural beauty, it was hard to take a bad picture.
Kudzu has invaded French Polynesia, with bigger leaves than we see in the American south.
In the off-road portion of the trip, the bridges were definitely primitive.
