May 10 Sydney second day

Tuesday dawned clear and cool. A beautiful day.
We ate breakfast at Terrace Cafe, out on the 9th deck stern.  Food means seagulls, so these guys were hanging around on the rail. I got up to take a photo of the Opera House, and a gull swooped in and started eating my scrambled eggs.  After he was chased off I got a new breakfast.
Utilizing our Opal cards, we took the 333 bus from the Circular Quay to the famous Bondi Beach in southeastern Sydney.
Life Saving Clubs are prominent at the beaches

Bondi is also a surfing beach

The cliffs on the southern end of Bondi
We took the cliff walk and around the corner are Tamarama and Bronte beaches.
Along the cliffs is a salt water pool where people were swimming laps.

After bussing back to the Circular Quay (333 again), we ate a picnic style lunch near the ferry wharf.  Of course, someone on a nearby bench decided to feed the gulls.  I had already contributed to the gulls today.

Fosters is NOT the Australian beer.  Most Aussies like Vics.
We walked around the Rocks, the founding spot of Sydney.

Opera House
We sailed away, sadly, just after sunset.

I was bemoaning our 8:00p sailaway next year, but nighttime skyline shots will take the pain away.
