Sun Sept 7  North Cascades National Park

Twisp didn't have a whole lot to offer.  We had a place to sleep, ate at the neighboring pub, and walked along the river behind the hotel.  Twisp does have a good bakery, with an excellent chocolate eclair, but that's not worth the trip.  Almost, but...

An outdoor computer recycling facility, and healing treatments, apparently for you and not the computer.

We were first time visitors to North Cascades. Arriving via car is only one of the options.

Everywhere the scenery is magnificent.  Big mountains, pine forests, glacial lakes.

Someone dropped this one, and the top broke off.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.

 Another travel option:

On the way to Seattle, a town named for its primary product.  And the material used to fabricate most of the municipal buildings.
