Sept 7-8 Kusadasi Turkey & Rhodes Greece

On to places that we've visited several times before. Kusadasi is the gateway to Ephesus, an ancient trading city. Been there, done that. So we strolled through Kusadasi, a modern trading city.

Just outside the port it looks like an open city...
...but it quickly turns into a warren of little streets with shops on both sides and vendors sitting in the middle propositioning you was you pass.
A touch of Iceland in Turkey
Everything looks better when it gets dark
Rhodes is another ancient walled city. We just walked through the town on this hot day.

The mosque in Rhodes town.
Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights, a fortification from the Crusades.

Street of Knights
And for a change of pace, some pictures of Vista. It's about a year and half old. This is our first cruise on Vista, which holds 1200 pax.
