Sept 10 Valletta Malta

Another old favorite, Valletta has one of the prettiest sail ins on the trip.

Since we had walked all around the city during our previous visits, we chose an excursion out of town. This is Dingli Cliffs, on the southwest coast of the island. A great place to view sunsets, according to Queen Elizabeth.

St Magdalen's Chapel
Rabat, Malta
St. Pauls Catacombs. The chambers were illuminated in an orange light. The Pixel's camera, in NightSight, took pictures with a reasonable color balance....
...while the Nikon in Auto White Balance kept it in orange. It was a cramped, claustrophobic walk. During WW2 these caves were used as bomb shelters.
Chapel of St. Mary Magdelene

Walk through Rabat to Mdina the ancient capital of Malta, a fortified city.

Mdina Gate

St. Paul's Cathedral. Paul the Apostle was shipwrecked on Malta in 60CE and spent time here preaching.
