Jan 20 Manzanilla Mexico

We've never been here before, but there isn't a lot to see.  It's primarily a beach town, and we get that across the street from our condo in Boca.  We did wander about the town a little.

But first, we had two sea days getting here, and on Sunday the chefs had the big Sunday Brunch extravaganza.  Mmmm...donuts
 In case you wanted shrimp.
I believe that in map making circles this is referred to as a Buttercream Projection.
And our two sea days had two great sunsets.
Not captured in an image (and I was shooting video) there was a tiny green flash at the final sunset.
Now today in Manzanilla.  The cruise ship berths leads into the shopping plaza.

The gentleman is Alvaro Obregon, Mexican General in the Revolution, and later president.  In the background is street art, either a sailfish or a sailfish hook.

Mexico is the last bastion of VW Beetles.
We walked along a shopping street that was intended for the residents and not the turistas. We bought a handful of powerful magnets at a lighting store for about 50 cents a magnet.  The cruise ships metal walls are sheathed in a fabric covering that's thicker than it used to be.  More oersteds required.
Although the main streets are level, once you drift from city center the elevation climbs.
We didn't stop here.  This seems wrong on so many levels.

Great photos. We've heard you have a code red for norovirus on board. Hope you're both well!
