July 23 Copenhagen Denmark

We've been to Copenhagen many times in the past, but we still enjoy walking around the city.  Just watch out for the bicycles!

There was a shuttle into town since we were berthed a long way out.  We were dropped off right next to the Royal Danish Theater, a great place to start a walk through town.
An interesting but ultimately unsuccesful cafe
Central square on the shopping street very empty early in the morning
Helligåndskirken (Church of the Holy Ghost)
 Hans Christian Andersen
 The inspiration for Disneyland
It was a nice day in Copenhagen, but you can see that the temperature gauge has 0 right in the middle.  I'm not coming back in January.

Gammel Strand -- the former edge of Copenhagen
Bishop Absalon, who founded Copenhagen in 1167
 Christiansborg Palace and Thorvaldsens Museum

Outside the railway station, the bicycles look peaceful in their repose, but they're really just resting to be ready to attack you along the streets and roads
Nyhaven, jammed with tourists taking pictures

 Art imitates life
Facade of building next to our shuttle bus pickup
 Large department store
 Homage to basketball
It's changeover day onboard, and one lucky steward gets to wear the red coat and white gloves
I ended the day with more than 20K steps.  It's great walking around in Copenhagen.
