Here's a collection of seaside towns we've never visited before. We skipped any excursions we might have planned because it's just too hot to spend 2-3 hours walking around ancient ruins with no shade. Instead we get off this very early and walk around the port area which is generally restaurants and shops.
First up is Dikili, although the towns seem interchangeable.
The local mosque
No shoes inside the mosque

On to Izmir, St John's Anglican Church
Shopping street
We thought about trying some Turkish food, but decided to return to the ship for lunch
Building Mural
Fishing along the waterfront
Waterfront park, Nautica in the distance
I was fascinated by the zig-zag line of identical apartment buildings going up the hill
Another seaside town, different language and currency but otherwise identical. Samos Greece.
Pythagorus Square. I thought it should be a right triangle, not a square.
Angio Nikolaos
